Ministry in the local community

Shepherd of the Sea actively supports and participates in many ministries in Carteret County.  These include:

 

Martha’s Mission – Supplies groceries to families in need

Hope Mission – A community kitchen serving meals 6 days a week, a
source for emergency financial aid, and a men’s shelter

Crystal Coast Habitat For Humanity – Provides affordable housing

Project Christmas Cheer – Provides Christmas presents to children in need

Broad Street Clinic – Free health clinic

Seaman’s Center  – Provides assistance to sailors who are in port
